Riverside Theatre Announces 2018 Summer Camps

Riverside Theatre for Kids announces the 2018 Summer Camps for children ages 5 to 18. Specifically tailored towards each age group, these summer camps are designed to bring out the star in every child.

BEGINNING STAGES CAMPS

For ages 5 to 7

9am - 12pm

Tuition: $105 per session

Our young budding performers get chances to explore all facets of their imaginations and creativity in these popular annual camps. Each week is centered on a different theme, but all will cover the basics of storytelling, acting, singing, and art! At the end of each week, a family showcase will be held at 11:30am.

Session 1 - June 11-15

Journey to Madagascar - Journey to the urban jungle and explore the songs, scenes, and stories from the animated film.

Session 2 - June 18 - 22

SpongeBob on Broadway - Enjoy the story of a yellow sponge who becomes a

Broadway star!

Session 3 - June 25 - 29

Minion Mania - Minions are everywhere in this fun-filled camp.

Session 4 - July 9 - 13

The Greatest Showman's Circus - Discover a magical circus with fanciful acts.

Session 5 - July 16 - 20

Moana's Island Adventure - Enjoy a wild adventure in Polynesia.

Session 6 - July 23 - 27

May the Force Be With You - Celebrate "The Force" in this intergalactic camp.

JUNIOR THEATRE INTENSIVE

Madagascar Jr.

For ages 12 & up

10am - 6pm

Tuition: $400

Take a journey out of the zoo and onto the stage with your favorite crack-a-lackin' friends from the blockbuster DreamWorks film featuring all the musical hits.

Session - June 4 - 15

Performances: June 15 @ 2pm & 7pm

June 16 @ 2pm & 5:30pm

KIDS THEATRE INTENSIVE

Madagascar Jr.

For ages 7-11

10am - 6pm

Tuition: $400

Based on the popular animated films and featuring the songs from those movies, Madagascar Jr. will leave audiences with no choice but to "Move It, Move It!"

Session - June 18 - 29

Performances: June 29 @ 2pm & 7pm

June 30 @ 2pm & 5:30pm

THE iRASCALS EXPEREINCE

iRascals Pop

For ages 8-13

10am - 4pm

Tuition: $250

Be prepared to get totally awesome as Rascals covers today's pop songs. Students will learn vocal techniques, dancing and acting in this full day camp, which culminates in a show for their families to enjoy all the fun!

Session - July 9 - 13

Performances: July 13 @ 2pm & 7pm

iRascals Broadway

For ages 8-13

10am - 4pm

Tuition: $250

iRascals explores the theatre scene! Kid friendly hits from the pop charts and Broadway will help our young stars learn techniques for singing, dancing, and acting in this fun and popular program!

Session - July 23 - 27

Performances: July 27 @ 2pm & 7pm

TEEN THEATRE INTENSIVE

Once on This Island

For ages 13 & up

10am - 6pm

Tuition: $300

Adapted from the celebrated Broadway musical, this rousing Calypso-flavored tale follows one small girl who finds love in a world of prejudice.

Session - July 9 - 20

Performances: July 20 @ 2pm & 7pm

July 21 @ 2pm & 5:30pm
