New Original Cast Recording Of LOVE, LINDA: THE LIFE OF MRS. COLE PORTER Available Now The original cast CD of LOVE, LINDA starring acclaimed jazz vocalist Stevie Holland, has just been released by 150 Music in anticipation of Holland's upcoming limited engagement return at the Triad Theater. The CD features several newly recorded selections from the show as well as previously un-recorded songs.

LOVE, LINDA got its start at the Triad Theater. The show was further developed then presented in a successful off-Broadway premiere at the York Theatre. The new, fuller theatrical work now returns in an intimate presentation at the Triad from October 17 - November 10.

Directed by TONY-Winner Richard Maltby, Jr., this one-woman, tour de force musical tells the story of Linda Lee Thomas, the Southern beauty and driving force behind legendary songwriter Cole Porter at the dawn of the roaring 20s. Though Porter was gay, their companionship lasted through 35 years of marriage and a glamour-filled life.

With innovative arrangements by award-winning composer Gary William Friedman, Porter's timeless songs weave through the compelling narrative, celebrating their deep love, while examining the darker sides of their life.

Music Director Deniz Cordell is on the CD leading a trio with Peter Brendler on bass and Jeff Davis on drums. The upcoming Triad engagement is presented by Lyle Saunders in association with the Schoolhouse Theater.

The CD is available at Amazon.com, iTunes, Google Play and Pandora Radio.
