BWW Previews: Revival of Annie the Musical to open Norway in October 2018 Opening October 19 2018 Annie The Musical will be playing at the Løresnskog hus, just outside Oslo.

The show stars Ida Holten Worsøe as Miss Hannigan, Sigurd Sele as Oliver Warbucks, Silje Hagrim Dahl as Grace Farrell, Morten Remberg as Rooster Hannigan and Erin Nilsen as Lily. Annie will be played by Cornelia Helgor and Juni Løveid Mølster.

Ola Beskow (Rent, Evita) will serve as director and Petter Sørlie Kragstad as musical director. Norwegian translation by Anderas Diesen and Christian Ranke. The show will have a modern setting, but it will not be the way they did in the remake.

"We are very respectable of the sourcematerial and have worked hard to keep the show like it was, yet still feel modern" says director Ola Beskow to BroadwayWorld.

In a not too distant war-ridden future with poverty and little hope, Annie is a fiery young orphan girl who must live in a miserable orphanage run by the tyrannical Miss Hannigan. Her seemingly hopeless situation changes dramatically when she is selected to spend a short time at the residence of the wealthy munitions industrialist, Oliver Warbucks
